Warta, part of the HDI/Talanx Group, has successfully rolled out major enhancements to its insurance sales system, aimed at simplifying and accelerating the purchase process for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The improvements focus on reducing formalities while maintaining a high level of insurance coverage, helping both agents and customers save valuable time.

As of May 21, new and updated insurance packages are available under Warta’s flagship products, Warta ExtraBusiness Plus and SmartBusiness. A key innovation is a unique market-first risk assessment mechanism that eliminates the need for agents to manually declare business activity codes (PKD). Instead, the system automatically retrieves company data from Poland’s national GUS database via the REGON number, profiles the client using configurable rules, and incorporates risk classifications directly into pricing models.

Further system updates include:

  • Risk Assessment Without PKD: Automating client profiling and risk assessment streamlines the quotation process and reduces manual errors.
  • New Package Selection Logic: Agents can choose a simplified process with no PKD declaration for faster policy issuance, or opt for detailed declarations to tailor coverage precisely.
  • Advanced Higson Engine: Powered by Decerto’s Higson business rules engine, the system now enables rapid configuration changes and dynamic support for agents in selecting optimal packages, accelerating time-to-market.
  • Simplification and Reduced Formalities: Ongoing improvements minimize the number of required form fields and streamline processes, creating a more intuitive and user-friendly experience.
  • PKD 2025 Integration: The system now supports both the new 2025 PKD codes and the legacy 2007 version, ensuring a seamless transition and minimizing potential errors.

These updates have already led to faster service times, higher automation levels, and a better overall experience for agents and SME clients alike.
